Health and safety representative training providers in Western Australia
Health and safety representatives and deputies are required to attend an initial five-day training course provided by an approved registered training organisation to fully exercise their powers and perform their functions.
Work Health and Safety Commission
The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 provides that health and safety representative training must be delivered through a course of training that is approved by the Work Health and Safety Commission. The conditions that RTOs must operate under when approved to deliver are also set by the WHS Commission.
About the CommissionHSR annual reports
The WHS Commission requires each approved training provider to submit an annual report about the delivery of courses for the year ending 30th June.
